The "Updation of Self Registered Farmers" option on PM Kisan portal exists to allow farmers to correct mistakes made during self-registration, update personal information (like phone number or bank details), or modify farm-related details. How to Update PM Kisan Details

• Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in
• Select "Farmers Corner" on the homepage
• Click on "Updation of Self Registered Farmers" for general updates (bank account details, mobile number, self-registration form and other details)
• Enter your Aadhaar number, fill out the captcha code and click on “Search”
• Enter the OTP received on your mobile number
• Update the relevant fields: bank account details, land records, or contact information
• Once the corrections have been made, click on “Update”
• The updated PM Kisan form will be sent for verification
• Check status under "Know Your Status" to ensure the changes are reflected

How to Update PM Kisan Name Correction as per Aadhaar

NOTE: PM Kisan requires you to do face-authentication through the mobile App or bio-authentication-based eKYC through CSC centers for name correction as per the Aadhaar. Here’s how to do both.

Steps for Face Authentication via PM Kisan Mobile App:

• Download the official PM Kisan app from the Google Play Store.
• Launch the app and navigate to the eKYC or Name Correction as per Aadhaar section.
• Input your Aadhaar number for verification and tap. An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
• Enter the OTP received on your mobile and proceed.
• The app will prompt you to complete face authentication. It will activate your phone's camera to capture your facial image. Position your face as instructed, ensuring your face fits within the on-screen frame.
• Follow any additional prompts like blinking or moving your head slightly to confirm the face scan.
• Once your face authentication is successful, the app will confirm your identity, allowing you to complete the name correction as per Aadhaar.

Bio-Authentication via CSC Centers:

• If face authentication via the app is not convenient, you can visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) for bio-authentication-based eKYC. The CSC will use biometric devices (fingerprint/iris) to verify your identity and help with the name correction process.

• Visit the PM Kisan portal at pmkisan.gov.in
• Go to the "Farmers Corner" and click on "eKYC"
• Enter your Aadhaar number and click "Search"
• Update any Aadhaar-linked details that need correction

• If OTP fails, visit your nearest CSC (Common Service Center) for biometric authentication
